Gardeners’ Question Time – Thurs. 19th March, 6.30 for7pm
Lurgashall Horticultural Club is delighted to host a fun Gardeners’ Question Time at the Village Hall on Thurs 19th Marrch, 6.30 for 7pm.
Wine and nibbles to welcome you, and a panel of gardening experts to answer your questions and solve your gardening problems!
Open to everyone, and if you are not already a member of the Club, there’s no better time to join!

Quiz Night at the Village Hall – Thurs 26th March
The Lurgashall Recreation Association’s Quiz Night fund-rasiser has become a very popular and successful annual event. It has also allowed the LRA to maintain our valuable Jubilee Field for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great night out, so please book your space and come along!

Village Tea at Lurgashall Village Hall on Wed. 28th January, 3-5pm
Our next monthly Village Tea at the Village Hall is on Wednesday 28th January.
We are so very grateful to the Village Teas team, led by the wonderful Rose Dillon-Thiselton, who each month host the Village Tea and supply the most delicious home-made scones and cakes – all for only £2 per person.
The Village Tea is a rare thing – a place to relax, chat to people – old friends and new, feel warm and at home, and know that you are part of a caring community. Oh, and the cakes are pretty amazing too!
There is also a chance to browse and explore our local village history archive, including lots of photos from the past 50-100 years.
Do come along, and please encourage others – everyone is welcome.

Lurgashall Christmas Bingo evening is a great way to start the Christmas season.
Supporting our bingo ‘master’, Sprog (aka Francis Dillon-Thiselton) this year will be the one and only RORY LAWSON – we wish him luck stepping into the master’s shoes!
Sprog’s wife Rose is still in charge of prizes, and those lucky enough to win will go home with some great ones!
There’s also a raffle – for yet more lovely prizes.
Doors open at 7pm – £5 for a book of games.
