***Rose and Sprog’s EASTER BINGO***
Saturday, 24th March in the Village Hall.
Doors open 7pm, eyes down 7.30pm.
Always good fun, with great prizes to win – but EXTRA PRIZES are always hugely appreciated, so if YOU would like to donate a prize, please deliver it to Rose and Sprog at No. 8, Greengates.
All proceeds go to the Village Hall, so do come and join in the fun!
It’s now only a few days before the Lurgashall Village Shop re-opens shop as the village’s very own Community Shop, and we cannot do this without the help of volunteers.
Following on from the public meeting on 8 Feb., all those who offered to volunteer with the village shop – in whatever capacity – are invited along to a meeting at the village hall on Tuesday 20 February, 7.30pm. Doors and bar open 7pm.
Since the first meeting at the end of October, and in response to the fantastic feedback from the questionnaires, the Lurgashall Village Shop committee (LVS) has been working hard to ensure that we can provide a thriving village shop for the community and surrounding area.
There will be a public meeting to update everyone on Thursday 8th February at 7.30 pm at Lurgashall Village Hall.
Lurgashall Village Shop Committee is: Sophie Jowett (Chair), Malcolm Caird, Anthony Crandon, Annabel Grout, Sally Ohlson and Hennie Cooper

January is typically a quiet month in the Village Hall, but we still have our regular activities for the local community:
Monday 8th – Village Lunch
Wednesday 10th – Film Night – film to be announced shortly, but it will be a golden oldie voted on by the village!
Wednesday 31st – Village Tea (3-5pm)
January’s ‘Pilates for All’ classes are on Monday 8th, Tuesday 16th, Monday 22nd and Monday 29th – all 7-8pm. Please contact Eliza Wheeler if you’d like to join – 07929 365088.
If you’d like to hire the Hall for a party or other event, or if you need to hire equipment for your own party, please contact the Booking Secretary on 07796 162304 or email email@example.com
