Our July screening in the Village Hall will be on
Wednesday, 4th July, 2018.
Our film is: “FINDING YOUR FEET”

Comedy starring Imelda Staunton, Celia Imrie, Timothy Spall, Joanna Lumley, Josie Lawrence

When Lady Sandra Abbott discovers that her husband of 40 years is having an affair with her best friend, she seeks refuge in London with her estranged, older sister Bif. The two could not be more different – Sandra is a fish out of water next to her outspoken, serial dating, free-spirited sibling. But different is just what Sandra needs at the moment, and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to a community dance class, where she starts finding her feet…

Village Hall Dates for your Diaries in July and August

July-Aug 2018It’s high summer and halfway through the year already!

But the Village Hall is still busy:
Apart from the regular monthly Film Nights and Afternoon Teas,
the *VILLAGE LUNCH* Ladies invite you to ‘Bring a Friend for Free’ to their delicious Lunch on 9th July – surely an invitation not to be declined!

The *VILLAGE HALL* AGM on 10th July is a Public Meeting, so do come along to support all those on the Management Committee who work so hard to keep our Village Hall alive and buzzing!
On 11th July there is a *PARISH COUNCIL* Meeting, which is open to the public.  Both organisations value YOUR input.

And before we know it, it will be August, so we hope everyone is busy in their gardens, potting sheds and kitchens getting ready to exhibit at our 35th Annual *HORTICULTURAL SHOW* on Saturday 18th August.  And there are fun classes for children to enter, too.  (Schedules available from the Village Shop.)
